Monday, March 15th, 7:30 PM - The Stated Meeting of The Valley of Scranton will be held at the Masonic Temple in Scranton. Chapter of Rose Croix officers will be presiding. Blue Ambassadors whose lodges have had candidates in any of the November 2007 through November 2009 classes will be awarded the new Scottish Rite Ambassadors Jewel. The Ladies Auxiliary Meeting will be on Second Floor.
Thursday, March 26th, 6:30 PM – The Abington Consistory Club will hold a Men’s Dinner Meeting at the Summit Diner, reservations not needed, a program to follow.
Brethren: Applications for Scottish Rite Scholarships are now being accepted for the 2010 year. Scholarships are awarded to the children and grandchildren of Scottish Rite members and young people active in youth groups affiliated with the Masonic fraternity. For applications write to the Valley of Scranton, 420 N. Washington Ave., Scranton, Pa. 18503.
Brethren: The Spring Reunion has been cancelled due to the one day class, which will be held October 30th, in conjunction with the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. The initiation fee has been reduced to $100.00 plus regular dues of $63.00 for this class only. The class is open to the newly raised masons made that day and any other masons who would like to join. For active military, the initiation fee is waved they pay dues of $63.00 only. The 4th & 32nd Degrees will be presented that day after lunch. All candidates are invited to the lunch.
